KINETIC TYPOGRAPHY

Kinetic Typography was created using typographic elements to represent onomatopoeic words for each distinct sound in the chosen audio. It was important to consider traditional typographic moves such as scale, typeface, weight, color, spacing.

Set of styleframes for Kinetic Typography.

DA, DUN, JA, TUH, TICK were among the onomatopoeic words chosen. An expressive typographic palette was developed to align with the bold colors chosen and the house beat.

LITTLE PICNIC

Little Picnic is a typographically-driven 10-second picnic-themed count-up. The piece aims to combine multiple materials and experiment with movement and collaged compositions. The piece is meant to feel light and sweet, reminiscent of a picnic on a warm summer day.

Photographs and postcards used in Little Picnic.

Images were partially sourced from my personal archive of vintage photographs and postcards.  Fruit and vegetable illustrations were digitally drawn, then used a frames to create collages.
